Rivers, waterfalls and canyon landscapes surround San Gil. Rafting takes you onto the water; Juan Curí adds a waterfall excursion. Between outings, there is time to recover.

Your rafting trip depends on the river section, difficulty and guiding. I allow a day each for Barichara and Juan Curí. For a short stay, I focus on two activities.
